Fly your Kite Safely

Remember Benjamin Franklin? Lightening and kites are not a good combination. Flying kites on rainy days or when there is thunder and lightening is dangerous.

Just like lightening, electricity can travel down a kite line. Never use staples, paperclips, or wires to make your kite. Stay away from power lines. If your kite gets caught in a power line don't try to pull it down, remember, you can make another kiteyou are hard to replace.

Trees and kites don't mix, so you probably shouldn't try to fly kites around trees. Fly your kites on pretty days with light wind and most of allhave fun.
